Effective Date And Scope
This Privacy Policy is effective August 24, 2026 and describes how Warmer LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company, collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use WRMR, the WRMR website, and WRMR sponsored events.
Account And Profile Information
WRMR collects the display name, email address, phone number, password hash, assigned User ID, app-generated device identifier, profile biography, profile photos, matching preferences, and settings you provide. WRMR never stores your plain-text password.
Location Information
WRMR collects precise device location when you choose to go live, check for nearby matches, or check in to an event. Location is used for proximity matching, distance tiers, venue eligibility, safety, fraud prevention, and operation of the service. WRMR does not sell location information or use it for advertising.
Verification Information
WRMR uses Twilio to verify phone ownership and Stripe Identity to verify identity and adult eligibility. Stripe may collect government-issued identification, document images, and selfies under Stripe's privacy terms. WRMR does not store copies of identity documents, selfies, or document numbers. WRMR stores verification status and an encrypted verified date of birth to calculate current age, enforce the 18+ requirement, and prevent profile-age changes that conflict with verified information.
Activity And Safety Information
WRMR processes availability status, nearby match results, event registration and check-in activity, Pings, See Me interactions, dismissals, blocks, reports, moderation actions, login sessions, IP addresses, device and browser information, and operational logs. This information is used to provide the service, prevent abuse, respond to reports, secure accounts, troubleshoot problems, and document sponsored events.
How Information Is Used
WRMR uses information to create and secure accounts; personalize and calculate matches; show distance-appropriate profile details; verify email, phone, identity, and age; operate events; deliver notifications and support messages; enforce the Terms; investigate safety concerns; prevent fraud; maintain the service; and comply with law. WRMR does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
How Information Is Shared
Information is shared only as needed with service providers that help operate WRMR, including hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery services, Twilio, and Stripe Identity; with event hosts only as needed to administer an event; with professional advisers; with authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, or immediate safety; and in connection with a business reorganization subject to appropriate protections. WRMR does not sell personal information.
Visibility To Other Users
When you are live or checked in and available at an event, compatible nearby users may see your display name, profile biography, compatibility percentages, approximate distance tier, and profile photos as they unlock by distance. WRMR does not display your email address, phone number, exact coordinates, identity documents, or verified date of birth to other users.
Retention And Account Deletion
WRMR retains account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, operational, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may permanently delete your account in app Settings or at wrmr.app/account-deletion. Deletion removes your active profile, photos, contact information, location, credentials, sessions, and WRMR identity-verification record. Limited event, safety, moderation, fraud-prevention, legal, backup, and audit records may be retained in de-identified form. Stripe redaction requests may continue processing after deletion.
Security
WRMR uses encrypted network connections, password hashing, protected session credentials, access controls, rate limits, audit records, and administrative authentication. No system can guarantee absolute security, so use a unique password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Your Choices And Rights
You may remain silent instead of live, change notification settings, edit profile information, block or report users, leave an event, request support, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. Contact WRMR to exercise an applicable right.
Adults Only
WRMR is for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children. If Warmer LLC learns that a person under 18 has provided personal information, the account will be suspended and the information will be removed as appropriate.
Changes To This Policy
Warmer LLC may update this policy as WRMR changes. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when appropriate, communicated in the app or by email. The effective date identifies the current version.
